Capture
The Capture tab covers the capture experience.
Background
Section titled “Background”The capture background (a photo or video) is used for the mode-select, template-select, style-select, guest-data-entry, and capture screens.
Live view and mirroring
Section titled “Live view and mirroring”- Live view — show or hide the camera’s live view; you can turn it off entirely.
- Mirroring — for the live view you can turn mirroring off, mirror the live view only, or mirror both the live view and the shot preview. This is for display only — it does not affect the final content.
Start-capture button
Section titled “Start-capture button”If you think guests may not be ready when the countdown begins, add a start-capture button: the guest gets ready, sees themselves on live view, taps the button, and only then does the countdown start.
It has options such as only on the first countdown of the session — if a template takes 4 shots, the button shows only before the first; the following shots start automatically.
Countdown and options — Video
Section titled “Countdown and options — Video”- Countdown — tap the time control (clock icon) and choose the countdown length (1–10 seconds). You can set custom text for each second — for example “get ready”, then 3, 2, 1 for a 5-second countdown.
- Play music during video recording — plays music from your video template. A bit more interactive — guests can dance during a longer video.
Countdown and options — Photo
Section titled “Countdown and options — Photo”Photo has a few more countdown settings:
- Special countdown before the first photo — give the first countdown more time and custom on-screen text (useful if guests need a moment to get ready). Later shots use the countdown before photo settings. Both the special and the normal countdown can be turned off; if the special first-photo countdown is off, the normal countdown settings are used.
- Photo review screen — when enabled, the guest can confirm the photo (keep it) or reject and retake. Set a timeout: if the guest doesn’t press within it, the photo is treated as OK and the booth moves to the next countdown (or to processing if it was the last shot).
- Shutter sound when taking a picture — plays a shutter click so guests know the shot was taken. Helpful because a real camera can be inaudible at events, or silent.
