Create & import

Creating and importing projects, events, and templates all works the same way.

Where

Section titled “Where”

For projects, open the projects gallery (where all your projects are) and find the file-with-a-plus icon. Tapping it opens a popup where you can create New or Import from an export file. Events and templates follow the same pattern from their own galleries.

New

Section titled “New”

Press New and enter a name.

For a project, you also pick a mode — Photo or Video — which decides which setup menus are available:

  • Photo — the photo editor and everything that goes with it, plus template and style choices.
  • Video — only the video editor.

Import

Section titled “Import”

Press Import to open a file dialog, then pick the export file. MixUp loads all the needed information from it, pulling in the right data depending on whether you’re importing an event, a project, or a template.
