MixUp Mini setup

It takes no longer than five minutes to set up the MixUp Mini, and you don’t need any special tools.

Before you open the booth

• Unplug the booth before you open the front panel.
• Never run the booth from mains and a power bank at the same time — doing so voids the warranty.

Insert the iPad

Unscrew the 4 screws inside the booth by hand and take off the front panel, then gently push the iPad into place.

Wired mode

Plug the booth in with the supplied cable — there’s a dedicated hole inside the leg to route it. The backlight turns on automatically as soon as the booth is powered.

To charge the iPad, connect the cable to it, then close the front panel and screw the 4 screws back in. This is where the other end of the iPad cord goes when the booth is plugged in.

Wireless mode

You can run the booth from power banks placed inside it. Use two banks — one for the backlight and one for the iPad — or a single powerful bank for both (for example, this one).

Feed the backlight from a 15 V / 3 A power-delivery bank over a type-C cable.

For the iPad, any power bank works (a 15 V / 3 A one charges it faster). Or run both the backlight and the iPad from one powerful bank — there are routing holes inside the booth to place the cables where you need them.
