Events
Events are the core object of the booth. An event is an all-encompassing container: it absorbs all the templates, styling, and settings that will run at that event.
The two buttons
Section titled “The two buttons”- Events base — a gallery labeled Events with a calendar icon. This is where all your events live.
- Active event — an elongated green button showing the currently selected event (there can be only one active at a time), with a calendar icon and a star, and the event’s name and start / end time.
Header actions
Section titled “Header actions”At the top of the event options you get: rename, copy, delete, export, tags, and Open — to jump to this event’s folder on your PC.
Event options
Section titled “Event options”Open the event’s options from that long green Event button at the top.
- Event preview — upload a preview image (optional; it can just make events easier to recognize).
- Start & end time — important. The event base is built around it, and it can be used to block the guest mode of the booth outside the event window.
- Event base — the file base of all content made and collected during the event. Open it to browse everything.
Download the event archive
Section titled “Download the event archive”Assemble an archive into an archive folder:
- Choose what to save and what not to, and the time range of files/data to include. For example, if you made a lot of test shots, pick the period you actually worked and select just the content and data you need.
- Data is saved as XLS (Excel format); content is saved as files in order.
- Select everything, press Download — the archive is built and its folder opens.
Counters
Section titled “Counters”A simple analytics panel showing, for this event: total sessions, how many were video vs photo, total photos printed, and sharing counters (which sharing methods guests used more or less). There’s a Reset button.
Content copying
Section titled “Content copying”If you need to copy content somewhere besides the main MixUp working folder as you work, configure it here — with separate options for the final photo, the printed photo, and the final video.
Disclaimer
Section titled “Disclaimer”A disclaimer is a liability waiver / text the guest must accept before capture. If they decline, capture won’t start. Enable it, then set the header (disclaimer title) and the text. It then appears before capture begins.
Payments (advanced)
Section titled “Payments (advanced)”On-site payment integrations are not available in this market.
