SP-63BE (white + color)
SP-63BE is the new lighting controller used in the MixUp and MixUp Mini booths — and in other products too, such as Stellar and the printer enclosures.
It’s universal: it drives both the white and the color lighting from one device, so you don’t have to connect two separate controllers (white and color) anymore. You can control it through the app, or with an optional physical remote.
Same as the color controller, with one difference
Section titled “Same as the color controller, with one difference”SP-63BE is configured very much like the MixUp Pixel / SP-105 color controller: a static color (pick it on the color wheel) or an animated scene, plus blackout, Sync, and the same idle/capture scenes.
The one difference is the white light:
- To use white, set the white light value.
- White light only works with a static color — you can’t run white light and an animated scene at the same time (a controller limitation). In practice this rarely matters: with white on, the color scene is barely visible anyway — the white overpowers it.
Scenes
Section titled “Scenes”There are 145 scenes here — fewer than the SP-105’s 200, but more than enough. They’re more nicely and smoothly animated, and generally more interesting.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”SP-63BE connects over Bluetooth only. Search for it by your device name and connect the same way as the other devices — see Enable, not Connect.
