MixUp White (lighting)

MixUp White is the white lighting device used in the MixUp and MixUp Mini booths. It lights the guest well during capture.

Two scenes, two sliders

MixUp White has just two controls — a brightness slider for each of its two scenes:

  • Idle (waiting) scene — usually set to 0 or very low, so the light doesn’t disturb people looking at the monitor or wash out the screen.
  • Capture scene — set the brightness higher so the guest is well lit. Tune it to your exposure and conditions — outdoors you may not need the light at all.

Sync

Press Sync and, whichever slider you drag, both scenes get the same value.

Connect

MixUp White connects over Bluetooth or USB — the same logic as the Spinner:

  • Bluetooth — search and enable the device (recommended). See Enable, not Connect.
  • USB — if the device isn’t found, install the Silicon Labs CP210x driver.
