Local Web Gallery
The Local Web Gallery serves the booth’s gallery over your own local network, so guests can browse, share, and print their content away from the booth. This keeps the queue moving: instead of crowding the booth to send their photos, guests do it on a tablet at a separate stand while others keep shooting.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A local network — a router is recommended as the access point.
- Connect the booth PC and a tablet (iPad or Android) to that network. The tablet runs the gallery in its browser and mirrors the booth’s guest gallery.
Set up the server
Section titled “Set up the server”The server just needs the IP address of the PC running the gallery:
- In Available Networks you’ll see the available adapters and their IP addresses.
- Click Select on the one you want — it fills in that IP address. If it’s a Wi-Fi adapter, it also fills in the network name.
- For Wi-Fi, enter the Wi-Fi network name and password for guest access — guests must join your network to reach the gallery or their content.
Two ways guests use it

Section titled “From the booth — QR Local Sharing”With the Wi-Fi name and password set, pressing QR Local Sharing in the booth shows two QR codes:
- The first connects the guest’s phone to your network.
- The second opens their content — the item they selected for sharing in the booth.
Guests can scan both right at the booth and send everything to their phone.
On a tablet stand
Section titled “On a tablet stand”Open the gallery on an iPad (or Android tablet) at a separate stand, and guests browse and share there on their own. You can run it on several tablets to spread the load (two or three iPads, for example).
What guests can do
Section titled “What guests can do”The web gallery mirrors the booth’s guest gallery. From it guests can:
- browse the event’s content (with previews),
- send to print (if printing is enabled),
- get QR codes for SMS, WhatsApp, and the other sharing methods.
All of it routes through the booth and is delivered exactly like normal sharing.
Admin mode
Section titled “Admin mode”Enter admin mode with the same PIN code set in the booth. In admin mode you can:
- see hidden content and hide content (for example to remove anything inappropriate when hiding isn’t available to guests),
- print any photo freely — handy if a shot got lost or you need a copy for the client.
Gallery settings
Section titled “Gallery settings”- Previews per page — how many thumbnails show on one page (e.g. 20). If there’s more content, it continues on the next page.
- A time slider at the bottom of the web page pages through content by time.
Quick setup helpers
Section titled “Quick setup helpers”On the Local Web Gallery settings screen:
- Link button — if the server is running, open the gallery in your own browser to check it.
- QR code button — shows a QR straight to the main gallery. Point your iPad’s camera at it to connect and open the gallery page in one go.
- Copy button (the two-files icon) — copies the gallery link so you can send it somewhere.
Fullscreen on tablets
Section titled “Fullscreen on tablets”For a clean kiosk look, run the gallery fullscreen:
- iPad / iOS (Safari): add the page to the Home Screen — it then opens fullscreen. The required tags are already built into the gallery.
- Android: add the page to the home screen from the browser menu to open it as a fullscreen web app.
Custom port
Section titled “Custom port”By default the server runs on port 8089. If that port is taken by another app you need running, enable the manual-port option and enter a different port — the server then runs on it.
