The simplest method: the guest scans a QR code to open a link. No input required.

What the QR points to

You choose which link the QR encodes:

• Uploader link — the uploader’s link to this specific photo or video selected in sharing (via the updatable link base).
• Your own fixed link — a constant link you type in, the same for everyone. For example your website, or a gallery where you upload all the event’s content yourself. In that case the QR always shows that one link.

Show QR before the content is uploaded

There’s a checkbox to allow showing the QR before the content has finished uploading.

• Leave it off and the QR appears only once the content is uploaded — so the guest scans a link that already resolves to their content, not the default redirect page.
• Turn it on to show the QR immediately (the guest may scan while the upload is still in progress and briefly land on the default redirect page).

Use this so both you and the guest know when the content is ready to scan.

Tip

For an uploader link, the guest gets exactly their content; for a fixed link, everyone lands on your page. Keep “show QR before upload” off if guests tend to scan instantly, so they don’t hit the default page.
