MixUp Booth setup

It takes no more than five minutes to set up the MixUp Booth at your event, and you don’t need any extra tools — just see how easy it is.

You control the RGB backlight from the Magic LED app on your phone, and the white backlight from the MixUp software (top-right corner).

We keep adding integrations with different iOS apps — let us know which software you use, as an integration may already be available.

A special mount holds DSLR cameras. Bend back the lock on the left, pull out the mount, secure your camera with the screw, then slide it back in.

You can position the camera horizontally or vertically: use the included screwdriver to remove the 2 panel screws and set it in the position you want. You can also move the camera closer or farther, left or right.

The booth has 3 USB ports that connect to your device. Plug in your printer, camera, and so on.

You can route the power cable through the leg of the booth. You can also run the printer cable through it, so fewer wires are visible. The booth can also run from a battery, which fits in the back.

This picture shows where to plug in the power cable. There’s also a spare outlet in the booth — you can plug in a DSLR camera or an iPad, for example.

On the front of the booth there are 4 black mounts for your Surface (model 7, 8) or iPad. They’re easy to change — just unscrew them with a screwdriver and screw in the ones you need.

Here you can see the USB that goes into the Surface or iPad, and the type-C input.

This is the Surface charging cable. If you use an iPad, plug its charger into the outlet at the back of the booth — there’s a dedicated hole under the fans to make this easy.
