Scenes & the editor
A scene is the move the arm plays for a shot — an ordered list of poses. MixUp ships with ready-made scenes and lets you edit or build your own.
Built-in scenes
Section titled “Built-in scenes”MixUp includes ready-made GlamBot scenes you can use as-is or as a starting point, including: Red Carpet Scene, For Snappic, Diagonal pass, Down / Up / Down, Bottom view pan, Center / Right / Center / Left, and Clip Style #1–#3.
Assign a scene to a project
Section titled “Assign a scene to a project”Pick which scene the booth plays for a project using Scene for project — you can set a Scene for photo and a Scene for video separately. Scenes live either on the Robot Arm or on the MixUp App (Scenes on Robot Arm / Scenes on Mixup App).
Edit scenes in the Scenes Editor
Section titled “Edit scenes in the Scenes Editor”Open the Scenes Editor (Robot arm scenes editor window) to build or adjust a scene. There you work with:
- Scene poses — the ordered positions the arm moves through.
- Per-pose Speed, acceleration, and timeout before the next pose.
- Scene name, Scene size (number of poses), and Scene playback time.
- Scene edit mode and Pose preview type for how you set and preview poses.
- Scene visual / Glambot view — a 3D preview of the arm and path.
Banner options
Section titled “Banner options”The arm can display a banner during its move — configure this under Banner options.
If a scene won’t play
Section titled “If a scene won’t play”- The arm must be connected and homed — see Connect & home the arm.
- A scene flagged with a bad pose (unreachable/speed/accel error) won’t run — open it in the editor and fix the offending pose.
- An empty scene has nothing to play — add poses first.
