Spinner 360 setup
Setting up the Spinner 360 takes about three minutes, and anyone can do it.
Connect the power
Section titled “Connect the power”First, connect the power cable inside the platform. If you have the Bluetooth controller installed (fitted in all platforms bought after July 2022), the second cable is optional — you can connect it or use Bluetooth instead.
Attach the stick
Section titled “Attach the stick”Thread the 2 screws through the holes and tighten them to attach the stick. The wires should run under the platform.
Don’t forget to plug the platform into a power outlet or a power bank. Use a power bank to charge the GoPro — we fix it to the bottom of the stick with zip ties.
Set the angle and height
Section titled “Set the angle and height”You can set the stick to any angle you like (we usually use the 2nd or 3rd hole). Use the 2 special screws that come in the set.
You can also change the height of the stick. The minimum length is 55 cm and the maximum is 153 cm — enough for both children and adults.
Mount the camera
Section titled “Mount the camera”To take the camera off, pull the little door that closes the connectors. There should be no battery inside the camera — connect it by cable to the power bank, then screw the camera onto the top of the stick.
If you have the triangle light, it will look like the picture. You can also change the angle of the triangle light and the camera.
Connect to your laptop
Section titled “Connect to your laptop”Connect one USB to your laptop — or connect the platform by Bluetooth. The Spinner program works without internet, but you’ll need a connection for sharing, so use a Wi-Fi adapter to stay connected to the camera and Wi-Fi at the same time.
Remote controller
Section titled “Remote controller”This is a remote controller for spinning and recording — just plug its USB into the laptop. The right button starts spinning and the left button starts recording (or use only the right button if auto-start is enabled in the Spinner app’s Platform tab). It stops automatically.
